Job Description:
As an AEM Developer, you will be responsible for supporting world-class Content Management applications across eCommerce, Marketing, Print and other channels for ongoing and strategic initiatives. You will assist the Digital Experience Platform (DXP) Architect and BSA in driving the corporate and architectural vision, resulting in substantial, demonstrable digital maturity growth. Assists in driving both large scale, transformational, and day-to-day implementations.
Primary application suite is Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and Cloudinary, a media delivery platform. Supplemental ecosystem applications include HCL Commerce, native and hybrid mobile apps, future Content Personalization and MarTech suite tools as well as other Adobe products including Analytics and Creative Cloud.
This role will possess the skills to interact and work with a broad range of roles and functions, including business owners, architects, engineers, project managers, quality assurance leads, product management and sponsors/stakeholders.
This role will assist in proactively identifying improvement opportunities, works collaboratively on building solutions to business problems and will focus on quality of deliverables, speed to market, risk mitigation and growth.
Requirements:
- Experience developing JEE web applications, Apache Sling, Sightly, Apache Oak and Dispatcher, WCM/DAM, JCR suite, Apache Felix OSGi framework, Workflows in AEM 6.X.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, JSP, JavaScript as well as SPAs and caching strategies.
- Experience with Java technologies and frameworks including Ajax/JavaScript (Jquery, ExtJS), JSON, web technologies like Search/SOLR, XML, XSL, etc.
- Strong experience in servlets and microservices, benefits/tradeoffs, usability and extensibility across new use cases.
- Strong experience in AEM component development, schedulers, Metadata & Tag Management, integrating AEM with other applications.
- Strong experience in end to end development lifecycle, release management, GIT repository/pipeline set up, maintenance and modifications to meet various release needs (major/minor).
- Experience with rest API integrations to a high traffic eCommerce website and large scale traditional and hybrid CMS implementations.
- Experience in services and microservice architecture, application thereof and benefits.
- Experience in headless AEM architecture
- Understanding of AEM as a Cloud service implementations
- Understanding of Content Development Lifecycle, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Creative Cloud, CRM tools, automated testing frameworks.
- Understanding of HCL Commerce 8.x, its capabilities, integrations with AEM and other commerce related tools.
- Understanding of front-end technologies ReactJS is a plus.
- Understanding of data migrations from other CMS tools is a plus.

- Experience in Retail is a plus.
